Hunter Janes
VP Engineering
Hunter is a team leader, senior designer, and data scientist with more than a decade of experience in the AAA video game industry and television production. He has extensive experience managing a development team from conceptualization to production. Mr. Janes has contributed to the popular titles Six Days in Fallujah, Star Trek: Bridge Crew, Star Trek: Bridge Crew – The Next Generation, and Werewolves Within. He has conducted extensive research on telemetry-based behavioral profiling and knowledge scaffolding.
Dr. Jeffrey Pomerantz, Ph.D.
Chief Product Officer and Principal Investigator
Dr. Pomerantz has been conducting research on, and developing online and interdisciplinary pedagogy for over 25 years. He has extensive experience designing and developing instructional materials and entire curricula for online programs, and acting as the liaison between teachers, instructional designers, developers, and providers of IT services and support. As Senior Researcher with the EDUCAUSE Center for Analysis and Research (ECAR), he was the principal investigator for the “Campus of the Future” initiative, sponsored by HP, the broadest study to date on Extended Reality technologies in higher education.
David Self
Art Director
David has been Lead Artist and Art Director over a career spanning two decades, and has developed for nearly every gaming platform that has existed in that time. He has also created art for a wide variety of physical media, including comic books, graphic novels, sports trading cards, and clothing. Mr. Self has extensive experience identifying users’ and customers’ needs for commercial art and designing and producing novel environments for 2D and 3D experiences.
Matthew Wagner
Design Director
Matte is a systems designer with a decade of experience in the AAA video game industry. He has driven design on such blockbuster titles as Dune: Awakening, Far Cry 4, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, and Star Trek: Bridge Crew. He has long been an advocate for accessible design for games. Mr. Wagner has extensive experience in sound design, having created original music, cinematic sound effects, and voiceovers for multiple games and other media.
